Interactions with other Systems The lymphatic system is involved with nearly every cell of the body working as a sort of half garbage man half soldier to the body. The lymph created by lymph nodes is used to clean waste from cells and also it contains lymphocytes that if detected fight off infections which could be found in any part of the body in any body system. It interacts with the immune system because the lymphatic system makes up the immune's capability of the body that fights infections. It also interacts with the digestive system since fats are absorbed from the small intestines by the lymph in the bloodstream.
